General Info

Although the hangar at Ludham is full you may not find any local pilots at the hangar, on good weather days we are normally flying ourselves though on the odd occasion one of us will be doing maintenance and just hanging about enjoying the tranquility of the airfield.

Aircraft enthusiasts are welcome but there is no way to see the aircraft unless one of the pilots are there, there are no windows in the hangar.

If someone is picking you up we advise a look at Google earth to figure out how to drive up the tracks to the airfield gate. The post code is NR29 5PR and that will get a visitor to the South side of the runway area on Fritton Road. Access to the site is from the South and East of the where the hangar can be seen. Access road is in a very poor state due to high axel weight farm vehicles using the tracks.

The original Ludham Control Tower still exists though is privately owned and under renovation. It is away from the airfield site North East of the runway. Please respect the owners private land.

Refreshments

The nearest and best place to get something to eat is the Kings Arms in LudhamThe Kings Arms is known as the Kilo Alpha....... :-)
